I was driving from Nara to Nagoya and randomly decided to choose this stop for a quick bite. To my pleasant surprise, this would be one of the best rest stops for the rest of my 2 weeks road trip. The car park is spacious, the toilets are large and clean, shopping is a breeze with very friendly service, and the food was the best in all of my road trips. I ordered the meal with the largest picture in the menu, which was some pork dish and salad with rice. The taste was simply a Michelin Star experience! I wish every stop was like this.

The last largest but the most relaxing parking area on Higashi-Meihan expressway from Osaka, Kyoto, or Nara to Nagoya. It's very new. Many clean comfortable restrooms, a Starbucks, a convenience store, lots of vending machines, and a free air conditioned indoor smoking space. Can buy variety of Japanese, especially Nagoya style snack souvenirs, and be able to eat udon, ramen, tonteki which is Yokkaichi's local special pork steak with garlic, breads, curry and rice etc.. There is a gas station. Pretty much suitable place for tourists. Can go outside or down side which is connected if you don't drive.
